IKAN practice


Room 7 has been practising for our maths IKAN test. We are going to do the test on Thursday 22 March. This is the number knowledge we’ve been trying to learn.

Jess and Caitlin decided to help out with the drain painting.
They were painting the drain as a dolphin.

step 1; First they had to draw the design with chalk.
step 2: Then they started to paint the outline.
step 3: They began to paint the inside of the dolphin.
step 4: Now they need to paint the waves.

 Yesterday room 7 learnt how to do fotobabble and audioboo with Mr Kinane.  Fotobabble is when you take a photo and record your voice with the photo on the screen. Audioboo is when you can record your voice for 3 minutes and you can put both on a blog or wiki or a website.

Room 7’s challenge!!!

Our goal is to finish all the following activities by the end of next week.
We think that finishing these activities is quite challenging.
Our job is to tick the boxes that we have completed.
If we concentrate then it will be easy to complete.

Yesterday the builders were starting to putting the floor in place for the rooms 17, 18 ,19 and 20. They are using a crane to lift the heavy concrete slabs. I think the crane is impressive that it can lift very heavy things like concrete slabs. Posted by Jakob, Jack and Harry.

This is a photo of the drain that had an octopus over the drain and because the building sight covered most of it, we need to repaint it. Hannah, Caitlin, Sophia and Jess and some more people are repainting the drains. We need to make our own design. On Thursdays we plan and paint the drains.
