Last term in room 7 we were learning to sketch for art. First we had to choose 3-5 objects that are special to us and bring it to school. We also had a booklet to learn different techniques such us stippling, hatching, shading and lots more. Next we drafted our special objects in our booklets and published it onto a larger piece of paper for our good copy.

Construction
Our school is constructing a new block because it is leaking and rotting because it was constructed wrong.

The building is going to be two stories high with two classrooms downstairs and and two classrooms up stairs.

Because of the construction the top playground is off limits :(
There is so much noise from the construction of the classes and there are a lot of trucks and cranes moving in.

Camp Memories

After room 7, 5, and 12 came back from camp, room 7 and room 5 have been making spectacular thank you cards for the parents and teachers who came to camp with us. We also put some sentences to thank them for what they did for us at camp and we also drew a picture on each card. Once we had finished the picture we outlined it with Indian ink, coloured it and then we sent the cards to the parents and teachers. Here are some of the finished products!
